Mentoring ProjectYou will be required to complete the following:1.      An outline of what your paper will discuss (roman numeral form)2.     Your flip book with your ideas mapped out3.     At least one thinking map filled in with what your paper will be talking about4.     A rough, ROUGH draft with your own corrections (done in a different color ink)5.     A rough draft that you will type and send to your mentor6.     Corrections to both of your mentors’ papers7.     A final copy (typed or written) that your mentors have looked over and correctedAll manuscript rules will apply since this will be a formal assignment.  (See poster in classroom.)Deadlines (Due Dates)January 11, 2008—Friday- all prewritingJanuary 14, 2008—Monday- your rough, ROUGH draft must be finished with all of your correctionsJanuary 15, 2008—Tuesday-your rough draft must be finished and ready to be typed in the labJanuary 16, 2008—Wednesday-rough draft must be sent to your mentor by the end of the periodPrompt:Write about a time you were proud.
